Overview

The contacts of a vacuum circuit breaker are usually made of conductive material and are used to open or close a circuit during switching operation. The functions of the contacts are similar to those in traditional circuit breakers, but using a vacuum circuit breaker can reduce arcing and improve arc extinguishing performance.
